I am profoundly grateful to express my deepest respect and appreciation for Dr. Stanislav Grof, whom I believe to be the most prominent psychologist alive today. Stan has pioneered and revolutionized the field of psychedelic therapy because of his groundbreaking model making psychedelic therapy evolving into a clear, safe, and supportive practice, benefiting countless patients worldwide.
I was so lucky and blessed with the fact that Stan has guided parts of my journey throughout the time of my training, during my own Holotropic Breathwork sessions, and while I was following him for years in conferences and many events in different continents worldwide, to the point to be part of the team facilitating in the last workshops of holotropic breathwork that he personally taught in Europe. This is a journey that started 23 years for me, since I started to practice Breathwork in different forms and qualities, and may practices in none ordinary states of consciousness (NOSCs) when I was 21.
Among the many distinguished teachers, PhDs, and renowned scientists I have met globally, Stan stands out as an exceptional human being. His visionary intellect is matched by a humble and impeccable heart, always ready to support others, share knowledge, and explore the depths of consciousness with an insatiable curiosity. I owe him a lot for the professional I am today, and on a personal level, the woman and mother I have become, embracing all the roles I carry within me during this transformative path that I chose. His loving guidance has been always manifested as the best father one can imagine to have.
